Kia Ora Whanau/Caregivers
Well its the first day of May today.... I haven't seen any of room 14 tamariki since the 23rd March.
I hope we move to Alert Level 2 some time in May so we can carry on our learning together.
In the mean time, I am very proud how so many whanau have tackled online learning. I hope you have all managed to pick up a NEW learning pack from Whaea Chanelle in the office!
Peter's dad sent me this picture of him and his sisters completing their mahi together.
I hope you all have a great weekend. I think lots of rain is coming our way. That will be great to build up the town water supply, to fill our water tanks and to refresh our gardens.
Take Care in your whanau bubble- E Waka eke noa.

Alert Level 3
Tuesday 28th April 2020
Morena Whanau/Caregivers
Yay!! We made it to Alert Level 3!!
I was thinking about the easiest ways to make make contact with room 14 Tamariki.
I am friends with quite a few of you on Social Media. Would it be easier to have a facebook - facetime video call with your tamariki for 5 to 10 minutes each??
I will get in touch with you today or you can send me a PM through facebook if you decide this would be the most easiest and convenient for you and your whanau also?
I hope you enjoy week 3's learning about the sun this week.... Next week we are learning about Rainbows!!
Have a great day. Hopefully the sun comes out.
Take care in your whanau bubble- E wake eke noa- We are all in this together!

How is everyone coping in Alert Level 4?? I hope we are still sane and everyone is enjoying this extra time with our whanau to reconnect and appreciate it's all about the little thingsd
The other day It was wonderful to share London's mahi with you. Peter's day had sent me the cutest video of him reading his magenta sight words. It was so lovely to see Peter and hear how much he had improved while identifying and reading his sight words.
It was awesome for us all to see and appreciate what our whanau are doing as Parents as first teachers in these uncertain times!! Room 14 Parents have been the best!!
Hope you liked Peter's videos are much as I did. love sharing them with you. Thank you Doug for sharing these to us.
Tomorrow I will attach week 3's learning!! Don't forget to make a comment in the blogpost so Mrs Neale and I know you have seen the mahi.
Have a great day in lockdown. We are nearly at Alert Level 3.
