Well we have nearly made it. Only 2 weeks to go and we finish school for 2020. It has certainly been a very different year. I'm sure we  are all happy to see this year come to an end.

Che'la, Aalacaey and Kowhai were super proud to  receive their certificates this week.

Che'la received her certificate for always displaying a happy personality.

Aalacaey for making huge progress in math  while completing his Jam math test.

Kowhai for showing progress while learning the letter names and sounds of the alphabet.

Next Week we  are having an exciting week at school. On Monday we are having a FUN DAY and on Wednesday we are off to sing some waiata to the Kaumata and Kuia at Kaikohe Aged Care Centre. Please remember to bring your permission slip back to school ASAP!!

Have a fabulous weekend.

A MASSIVE congratulations to  Waimirirangi, Cruize, Jayziah, Tookie, Silas and Luchiano. These tamariki came to School every day this week and were on time. Keep up the great attendance.

Room 16 is so lucky to have Nanny Rachel come and support the tamariki with learning their alphabet , basic sight words and being read to every day. I so appreciate her support every day. The Tamariki LOVE having Nanny Rachel helping us become more responsible for our learning!!

100% Attendance for room 16 tamariki

 Sunday 8th November 2020

Kia Ora Whanau/Caregivers,

Well I am super proud of all the tamariki that come to school every day in room 16 and especially if they turn up on time ready to learn.

From the beginning of week 3 we are now acknowledging  all the tamariki that come to school  every day and especially those that come to school on time. For their reward they get a delicious cold ice block on Monday lunchtime!

This week we had   Aalacaey, Reign, Jayden,Norton and Cruize come to school every day. Thank you whanau for making sure tamariki are turning up on time with their lunch, book bag and a good learning attitude!!  Well done to these 5 special tamariki.

I wonder how many more tamariki will be having 100% attendance this week??

Swimming will be starting  next week once the water warms up. I will send a note home to whanau later in the week. We will be swimming on Wednesday and Friday from 2.00-3.00pm.

Tamariki will need a swimming bag, towel,  swimming togs and a swimming cap.

Have a fabulous  week.
