Kia Ora Whanau/Caregivers
On Friday the Teina roopu had a fabulous whanaungatanga fun day at school. In the morning all classes were involved creating craft activities around our term one Kaupapa focus Ko au the Sea and environment.
Tamariki made origami birds, fish weaving, bug masks and a butterfly puppet. After morning tea we had a sports rotation down at Tawaranui. It was so awesome to see and hear tamariki laughing, participating, turn taking and communicating.
Silas, Kingston and Cruize were were spending some quiet time playing a game of cards.
Waiaroha and Aubrie were having a Kani Kani-dance
Room 14 ready for the fun to begin...
- Room 14 had fun throwing bean bag in hoops
Next week we are having some Tamariki moving from room 16 to room 14!! I will keep you updated on how they are transitioning to their new classroom.
Please look out in their school bags next week for room 14's term 1 newsletter.
If you have any Patai feedback or concerns please give me a ring 0275004575 pop into the class or by email louise@kaikohewest.school.nz
