problem solving tamariki

Term 4, Week 7

Kia ora Whanau

Life has been very busy in room 14....  lots has been going on with only 2 weeks until the end of 2019.

I was away the last few days at a RBL conference at Waitakere College in West Auckland. We had an amazing few days away listening to Russell Bishop. He  wrote the book teaching to the North East.

At the moment we are helping Whaea Raewyn  paint box's , so she can use them for the Kaikohe West float. This year our focus is  an advent calendar. Room 14 are painting 2 box's with the numbers 14 and 18.  They are starting to look amazing.

We are still collecting food for our hamper. If you have anything to contribute it needs to be into school before Tuesday please.

Swimming has officially started 2 weeks ago.  We swim on a Monday, Tuesday and Friday- we have a special code - MTF.

I have finished writing the tamariki's reports. So many of the children made amazing progress in reading, writing and Math.

It will be great to see you all at the christmas Parade, next Thursday 5th December and the Gala next Friday  6th December from 4.30-7,30pm.

Come and get your dinner at the Gala.  The food menu sounds amazing!!

I captured this photo of Sienna, Carlos and Hayes showing resilience and  perseverance. They worked together to complete  a challenging Spiderman puzzle. Well done my amazing learners!!

Have a great weekend
